The squeeze is an orange brush made of 100% synthetic and flexible rubber.
It is used for rubbing/racking applications with the transfer paper DCT. After applying the DCT transfer to the product, rub the moisture behind the DCT print with the ceramic eraser, causing the print to get stuck on the product. Due to the composition and material of the squeeze, it can very well tear away the water without damaging the imprint.
Commonly used products:
- Candles.
- Ceramics.
- Glass.
- Christmas balls.
- Model building objects.
1. Can I use a cloth instead of the squeegee?
This might work to a certain degree but the risk of ripping the transfer is far greater when using a cloth. With the squeegee you can use a relatively high pressure and therefore remove the excess moist better from underneath the transfer.
