TheMagicTouch DCT 4.5 is a waterslide decal transfer and is used as a sticker for spherical, non-heat resistant products. It is ultra-thin transfer, very easy to decorate and compatible with toner based color copiers and printers.

TheMagicTouch DCT 4.5 is a professional waterslide decal transfer and is used for pasting products, such as: candles, ceramics and model making.

There are three different variants:

1. TheMagicTouch DCT 4.5C (Clear)

This variant is transparent and mostly used for white and light coloured backgrounds.

2. TheMagicTouch DCT Light C (Clear)

This ultra thin variant is transparent and mostly used for white and light-coloured backgrounds.

3. TheMagicTouch DCT 4.5W (White)

This variant is white and is used on a dark backgrounds.

Printing advice

Always use the hand feeder if the printer has one.
Use our simple SpaceControl software to use the best possible printing settings.

Accessories

The squeeze does not absorb water and bends with everyone movement, which makes the squeeze suitable for smoothing the transfer paper DCT. If you do not have a squeeze, you can take a clean dry cloth.

Tips & tricks

If you use warm water, the transfer layer forms even better with round shapes.
It is important not to keep the transfer paper in the water for too long, otherwise the glue layer will dissolve.
It is advisable to first cut or cut the decal to the right size, before placing the transfer paper in the water.

1. What is a water slide decal?A waterslide decal is a water-based transfer and is applied like a sticker.

2. Are waterslide decals dishwasher safe?No, the transfer paper CPM 6.2 is recommended for this.

3. What is the best after-treatment?The best after-treatment is a blank coat.

4. Can this transferpaper also run through an inkjet printer?No, you can't run TheMagicTouch DCT 4.5 through an inkjet printer. This paper is only suitable for dry toner color printers/copier.

Step 1	Do not print the transfer in mirror image and place it in the water.
Step 2	Take out of the water after 20 seconds.
Step 3	Slide the carrier paper out from under the image and transfer.
Step 4	Wipe away the moisture behind the image with a squeeze.
Step 5	Allow to dry at room temperature for at least 3 hours.
Step 6	Bake ceramics in an oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
