The heat-resistant adhesive tape preventing the transfer from shifting and ensuring it stays in place during pressing. The tape adheres excellently, does not melt, and leaves no residue.
Information
Special adhesive tape of approximately 5 mm wide and 66 meters long with good resistance to elevated temperatures. It is transparent, smooth adhesive tape. The tape leaves no traces on the product after use.
The adhesive tape is mainly used when printing cups to keep transfer paper or sublimation paper in the right place when pressing with a mug press. It can also be used with textiles and blank products so that the transfer does not shift during pressing.

FAQ
1. Can I use the heat resistant tape on garment applications?
Yes, the tape leaves no glue residue on the garments.
2. Why can’t I use normal household tape that looks the same?
Because the adhesive of normal tape is not conditioned for applications with heat and will leave residue on the product. Also, the tape will melt and deform when heated to the temperatures required for transfer- and sublimation applications.
3. When using on mugs, do I need to tape down the whole side of the transfer on the mug?
No, certainly not. It is even better not to and use only a small piece of tape. Not only will your roll of tape last longer that way, but more importantly, fixating the transfers with only a small piece allows the transfer to slightly shrink and stretch during the transfer process.
