T.Seal is a sheet of paper with a special flexible coating on one side. Thanks to this coating, a print made with transfer paper Wow 7.8 or T.Foil gets a significantly better washability if it is pressed with T.Seal. The flexible, special coating of the T.Seal ensures that the print adheres better in and around the fibers of the textile. The result is that the print stretches better with the fabric and therefore less likely to crack or tear.
Processing
Place the T.Seal with the rubbery coating on the print made with transfer paper WoW 7.8 or T.Foil. Then press with high pressure for 15 seconds. Remove the T.Seal lukewarm to cold.
Over time, the coating of the T.Seal can become rougher and/or contaminated. This can largely be restored by pressing the T.Seal 1 or 2 times on a sheet of normal paper for 15 seconds. If the coating no longer recovers properly, the T.Seal sheet must be replaced. This is usually after about 30 to 100 prints, depending on the type of application and the design and the printed product.
1. Which applications can I use TheMagicTouch T.Seal for?
TheMagicTouch T.Seal does its magic and can be used with TheMagicTouch WoW 7.8, TheMagicTouch OBM 5.4, TheMagicTouch T.One and TheMagicTouch Hot Stamp Foil.
It can also be used with DTF (Direct to Film) transfers.
2. Does TheMagicTouch T.Seal transfer a coating onto the transfer and product?
No, there is no transferring of an additional coating when TheMagicTouch T.Seal is used. It helps the existing transfer-print to better adhere to the vibers of the garment.
3. Can I reuse a sheet of TheMagicTouch T.Seal?
Certainly, a sheet of TheMagicTouch T.Seal can be reused up to 100 prints depending on the fabric of the garments it is used on. Over time, the coating of the TheMagicTouch T.Seal can become rougher and/or contaminated. This can be restored by pressing the TheMagicTouch T.Seal 1 or 2 times on a sheet of normal paper for 15 seconds.
4. My TheMagicTouch T.Seal degrades very quickly. What am I doing wrong?
You are using it at too hot temperatures. T-Seal degrades quickly when used with temperature higher than 150°C/302℉
5. My sheet of TheMagicTouch T.Seal takes up the colour of the garment. What can I do?
This happens with colored polyester garments. The pigments evaporate and migrate into the coating of the TheMagicTouch T-Seal. On colored polyester you can better use TheMagicTouch Release paper instead of TheMagicTouch T-Seal to prevent this from happening.
