This video SpaceControl Print Utility Software White first Mode shows how SpaceControl has a unique feature that only SpaceControl can offer you for your Pro8432WT printer.
Unique
SpaceControl 4.1 allows you to use the white print unit of your OKI Pro8432WT in the first slot to print white first and the color after.
This way you can print on colored paper or film, clear label stock, DCT transfer media and the like. In case of a JPEG/JPG you might get an undesired Background.
How does it work
• Step 1: Swap the white and Cyan print unit.
• In SpaceControl 4.1: Click “Utility” and select “Pro8432WT White Mode”.
• Select “White First Mode”.
• A warning pops up to increase the density.
Density adjustment
To get the maximum white density enter your printer menu and increase the cyan density to +3. You do this with the cyan slot, because that’s where the white now is. On the printer
• Select “Calibration” and press “Enter”.
• Select “Color density” and press Enter.
• Select “Cyan Density” and press Enter.
• Select “+3” and press Enter.
Printing in white first mode
• Open SpaceControl 4.1 software and select media Type, e.g. “Ultra Heavy 2”.
• Select Paper size.
• Load your artwork file.
• Activate “Thershold On”.
• Increase “Add White Threshold” to 100%.
• Load paper into the Multipurpose tray.
• Enter the “Print” key.
The White First Mode can be used for
• Printing on Transfer paper DCT4.5C and DCT4.5 Light C.
• CL-Media self adhesive sheets.
• And much more.
Reset to “White Last mode” in SpaceControl
• Click “Utility” and select “Pro8432WT White Mode”.
• Select “White Last Mode”.
• The warning pop-up shows, click on OK.
On the printer: Set the cyan density back to “0”
• Select “Calibration”, press Enter.
• Select Color density and press Enter.
• Select “Cyan density” and press Enter.
• Select “0” and press Enter.
