SpaceControl Basic Print Utility Software Advanced Features 2

Why you should watch this video
This video SpaceControl Basic Print Utility Software Advanced Features (2) shows you how some of the advanced features of SpaceControl are still so easy to use.

Advanced Autocut Feature

T.One and Wow7.8 are high-tech Autocut (no-Cut) transfer papers.
They have actually been developed for printers with CMY+White technology. The white toner is the essential element for the Autocut (No-Cut) feature.
The good thing is: Under certain conditions, T.One and Wow7.8 can even be used in combination with a standard CMYK printer. As a rule of thumb, every single part of your design should have a total toner amount of at least 60%. Solid darker color text or logos perfectly work with T.One and Wow 7.8 and a standard CMYK printer. In the video you see an example of a design that perfectly works with T.One an de standard CMYK printer.

Here’s how it goes

• Launch SpaceControl Basic RIP software.
• Select transfer paper TheMagicTouch T.One.
• Open your artwork.
• Click on Print.
• Align the T.One transfer on you garment, printed side face down.
• Press for 5-10 seconds.
• Remove hot and post-press with T.seal.
• Done

What happens if parts of the design have a total amount of less than 60%?
SpaceControl Basic will simply remove these colors as the Autocut (No-Cut) feature of T.One will not function in areas with less than 60% toner.

• Launch SpaceControl Basic RIP software.
• Select transfer paper TheMagicTouch T.One.
• Open your artwork.
• Note the absence of the lighter colors.

Conclusion

SpaceControl shows you the limits: Only the image parts displayed in the Pre-view window will print.
It is up to you to decide whether or not a result will be acceptable.
However, if you use designs that meet the necessary requirements, you will discover a whole lot of new options.
