We describe the different accessories you need for transfer paper and tell you what you need them for.

TheMagicTouch T-Pad

TheMagicTouch T-Pad is a silicon foam pad special designed to resist high temperatures and is thinner than a TheMagicTouch A-Pad. You will use it for two different TheMagicTouch transfer paper CPM and WoW but in two different ways.
For TheMagicTouch CPM transfer paper you use it as a buffer between your heat platen and your blank product. The TheMagicTouch T-Pad will act as an Isolator on top of your blank product and ensures that the blank product slowly heats up. This will give the toner time to transfer and attach to the blank product. Your press time will be between 60 and 90 seconds depending on your heat press, product material and size.

For TheMagicTouch WoW 7.8 transfer paper we use the TheMagicTouch T-Pad as an isolator underneath your transfer paper. WoW requires a hot peel in the first step. If you work with a T-Pad underneath your transfer paper it will hold the heat and will give you more time and an easier peel in the first step of the WoW process. This will ensure that you have less drop out and will save money and time.

TheMagicTouch A-Pad

TheMagicTouch A-Pad is a silicon pad special designed to resist hot temperatures and is thicker than a TheMagicTouch T-Pad. You will use it for TheMagicTouch transfer paper CPM it acts like a buffer between your heat platen and your blank product. The TheMagicTouch A-Pad will be an Isolator on top of your blank product and ensures that the blank product slowly heats up. This will give the toner time to transfer and attach to the blank product. Your press time will be between 120 and 180 seconds depending on your heat press, product material and size.

TheMagicTouch Application Sponge

TheMagicTouch Application Sponge is a soft rubber foam with an open structure. TheMagicTouch Application Sponge will act like buffer between the heat platen and your blank product. The Soft open structure makes it perfect for the rougher open surfaces like wood and Cardboard. Adding some water spray on top off the Application Sponge will make the TheMagicTouch transfer papers CPM and RST softer, and they will form (to a certain extent) in the 3rd dimensions.
It does not hold the heat as good TheMagicTouch A-Pad and T-Pad so the maximum temperature is 160C/320F. TheMagicTouch Application Sponge is an consumer product so it needs to be replaced after serval time used.
Another application for TheMagicTouch Application Sponge are TheMagicTouch ORD and our Specialty media Gloss Finish and Cover Seal here TheMagicTouch Application Sponge acts like a buffer between the heat platen and the blank product.

TheMagicTouch T-Seal

TheMagicTouch T-Seal is a release paper with a thin layer of silicone. The silicone is getting soft under heat and pressure, it forces the transfer film to molt into the yarn of the fabric. Therefor the transfer film clings itself better to the yarn then using normal release paper.
Its specially designed for cotton or fifty/ fifty fabrics. For polyester fabrics you can use normal release paper because the risk of sublimation of the fabric into the silicon.

TheMagicTouch M-Pad

TheMagicTouch M-Pad is a thin silicon pad specially designed to fit in a mug press. It acts like a buffer between the heat element and the blank product. It will distribute the heat evenly over the blank product to get a perfect equal transfer. TheMagicTouch M-Pad needs to be cold to warm every time it’s been used so we advise to have more than one if you must make multiply products.

TheMagicTouch M-Pad is being used with TheMagicTouch CPM 6.2.

TheMagicTouch Teflon Sheet

A Teflon sheet is a sheet of Teflon. Teflon is a material with a very high release factor, meaning that almost nothing sticks to the Teflon Sheet. The exceptionally smooth and close surface of the material makes it ideal to use in combination with Sublimation. The Sublimation pigments cannot penetrate the surface of Teflon Sheet and will move into the blank product. Repressing with a Teflon Sheet will give the transfer a glossy finish.

Teflon Sheet is being used with Sublimation.

TheMagicTouch Release Paper

Our Release Paper comes in sheets and is designed to be heat resistance. The paper has a coating that has a high release factor and is similar to backing/kitchen paper we use in the kitchen. Because of the coating the toner or transfer film doesn’t stick on the release paper. That makes it perfect to cover transfer paper when it’s been pressed or after the application when you repress the transfer film into the fabric. You can not use release paper for sublimation as the sublimation pigments will penetrated the more open surface of the paper. Repressing with Release Paper will give the transfer a more matt finish.

Rubber Squeegee

A Rubber Squeegee is a squeegee made from a soft rubber specially designed for TheMagicTouch transfer paper DCT. After applying the decal transfer film on to the product the water that’s been trapped between the product and the transfer film needs to be removed. The transfer film is specially designed to be as thin as possible and is very fragile. Your gentle press the water underneath the decal film with the soft Rubber Squeegee till the decal film is settled on the product.
The soft rubber does not scratch the delicate service of the decal film or product.

Heat Protection Gloves

Heat protection gloves are gloves made of a polyester yarn that can hold up the heat. The gloves act like a buffer between your hands and the heat coming form your press and transfer paper. It allows you to have more time before you start to peel and feel the heat. It makes working with transfer paper more relaxed.

TheMagicTouch Application Support Kit

TheMagicTouch application support kit consists of a piece rubber and pieces of thick Cardboard. It helps you with pressing transfers on odd shape products. You can underlie your product to clear the rest of the product of the heat platen. So only the part where the transfer is touches the heat platen.
This is good for fabric or product that can not handle the heat well.

TheMagicTouch Weeding Tool

Weeding tools comes in different shapes like Tweezers, needle or a hook. It’s a necessary tool when using Heat Transfer Vinyl. You can easily take unnecessary film away with the sharp end off your weeding tool and weed your small, detailed design. A weeding tool with a light build in makes it easier to see the contour cut so quickly finish your weeding job.

Citrus Cleaner

Citrus Cleaner is a cleaning liquid made from Citrus and is mild aggressive. It’s designed to take away dirt and left-over toner on your end product. Spray on a piece of cloth and gentle rube over your product. If you don’t use to much you will not damage, your print.

Heat Resistant Tape

Heat Resistant tape is specially designed tape that is resistant to heat. If you want to secure the transfer on your blank product before pressing use the Heat Resistant tape. It does not melt and after use it does not leaf any glue behind.
